Our Mission Statement

   The American Legion Riders Post 1340 is an official Department of Oklahoma   

   American Legion Post composed of motorcycle enthusiasts.  As such, the mission of

   Post 1340 is to promote and support the established programs of the American Legion

   while riding motorcycles in all activities feasible.  These activities will include, but not

   be limited to:

• Participation in parades, programs, events and other ceremonies that are within the aims and purposes of The American Legion;

• The promotion of motorcycle safety, honorable military service, American Legion membership and POW-MIA recovery efforts;

• Support of our Veterans, Veteran's homes, Veteran's children and Veteran's hospitals.

• Providing a social atmosphere for The American Legion family member;

• Supporting other Veteran based motorcycle organizations.
